End of 2022

2022 has been a wild ride for me. I've found a lot of growth physically, mentally, and emotionally. If there's one thing, I learned this year is that growth doesn't come without pain. The pain and ugly times in life are things you don't see as much on social media, but don't let it fool you. We all have them.

Why I'm starting a blog.

I want to share more. More about my training, running, nutrition, and 2023 goal of benching 300 lbs while racing in ultramarathons (runners aren't supposed to be strong..). I also want to share my challenges outside of physical. No one wants to talk about those mental and emotional challenges out of the fear of being judged. BUT, through conversations (and those subtle yet not-so-subtle memes some be posting....) I had this year, it's safe to say we all have them. I find myself reading the writing of others through hard times, which helps me realize I'm not alone. If my blogging helps one person physically, mentally, or emotionally, I'll consider it a success.

Plan:

  • Post weekly. Content will vary. I plan on multiple posts a week, but you must crawl before you walk...

  • That's it. If I have a specific outline, it won't get past January...

Below is my favorite picture I took in each month this year.

 Much love, Adam.
