The Garage Gym

Lose lose ? Get stronger? Well, let’s get started…

These are my “off season” workouts. This summer I started to get a little burned out from running, so I decided to lower my running volume (run when I want), and increase my lifting. As a runner, it’s easy to try and push ourselves 12-months of the year, but even the professionals have an off-season.

Giving myself time to focus on gaining strength, lean mass, and increasing movement quality has had a positive impact on my running this fall.

I’ll be honest, my number one goal was to gain lean mass and get shredded.. I’m a meat head at heart.

These workouts can be completed with a simple garage/home gym set-up and at any fitness facility. Barbell, dumbbells, squat rack and a bench.

Now, these workouts aren’t just for guys wanting to get jacked. You can use them too ladies! This is a similar format I’ve used with a lot of my women clients looking to gain some strength and get more “toned.”
